Handling an offer |
Any offer can lead to the sale of your property. Take time to respond to an offer, sleep it over before replying. Conditions on an offer usually include inspection, financing or the sale of the buyers’ property. While the condition for financing should only be a formality because we pre-qualify our customers, other conditions could be more complex. Nothing is more embarrassing than an inspection report that reveals what you were trying to hide, ot did not know of yourself. The buyers can cancel an accepted offer if the inspection report reveals substantial faults in the structure or cover-up of damages. An offer conditional on the sale of the buyer’s property does not prevent you from continuing to offer your property for sale. |
